❄️ WINTER-READY RV VENT INSULATOR

Warmer, Darker Nights In Your RV

A 3-layer insulated cover that stops the cold draft and blocks every bit of light coming through your 14" x 14" roof vent. Goes up in 30 seconds, no drilling.

✓ Blocks Cold Drafts    ✓ 100% Blackout    ✓ No-Drill Install

RV vent cover keeps winter cold out and summer heat out

🥶 Your Roof Vent Is The Coldest Spot In Your Rig

It's a thin plastic dome right above your bed. Cold air sinks off it all night, your furnace keeps kicking on, and your propane tank empties faster than it should.

Sound Familiar?

• A cold draft on your face at 3 AM
• The furnace cycling on and off all night
• Campground lights glowing through the vent
• Towels and pillows stuffed into the frame that never stay put

🔥 Four Reasons RVers Love It

Every layer and detail fixes a problem you've already lived with.

01

Warmer Nights, Less Propane

Three layers: reflective silver, insulation core and black blackout fabric

The insulation core stops the cold air that sinks from the vent onto your bed and keeps your furnace heat inside. Less heat lost through the roof means the furnace cycles less and your propane lasts longer.

02

True Blackout, Day Or Night

Blackout test: ordinary shade glows, this cover blocks all light

The dense black inner layer stops light completely. No glow through the fabric and no gaps at the edges, because the cover overlaps the opening on every side.

03

Sleep On Your Schedule, Wherever You Park

RV bedroom with and without the blackout vent cover at sunrise

Campground floodlights, parking-lot lamps, a bright desert sunrise. Your bedroom stays dark until you decide it's morning. Ideal for late sleepers, kids' naps and anyone working night shifts.

Fits Standard Vents, Folds Flat

Vent cover in an RV bedroom, shower skylight and camper van, rolled up for storage

Made for standard 14" x 14" roof vents and skylights. When you want daylight back, it rolls up into a drawer instead of filling a cabinet like a foam vent pillow.

☀️ Heading South This Winter?

Snowbirding in Arizona, Texas or Florida? Flip the season. The reflective silver layer bounces the sun and heat back out, so your A/C works less and the cabin stays comfortable through the afternoon.

Simple

Peel, stick, press.

All Season

Warm in winter, cool in summer.

Reusable

Pull it down, press it back.

⚖️ Foam Vent Pillow vs. Blackout Vent Cover

One fills a cabinet and falls out of the frame. The other folds into a drawer and stays put.

Foam Vent Pillow Blackout Vent Cover
✕  Bulky, fills a cabinet ✓  Folds flat into a drawer
✕  Falls out of shallow frames ✓  Held by 4 velcro strips
✕  Light leaks at the edges ✓  Overlaps the opening
✕  Needs a deep vent frame ✓  Works on flat skylights too

🛠️ How It Works

About 30 seconds of work. Let the adhesive set overnight for the strongest hold.

Install by sticking velcro strips around the vent, then pressing the cover on

01 · Clean

Wipe the surface around your vent opening with rubbing alcohol and let it dry.

02 · Stick

Peel and press the 4 velcro strips around the opening. Press firmly for 30 seconds each.

03 · Let It Set

Give the adhesive 24 hours at room temperature before heavy use or a long drive.

04 · Press On

Line up the cover and press it on. Pull the red tab anytime you want light or air back.

🚐 Made For Every Rig

A Gift Every RVer Will Use

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit my vent?

Measure the opening itself, not the plastic trim. If it's 14" x 14", it fits. The cover is intentionally larger so it overlaps the edges and stops light leaks.

Does it work with a powered fan or crank-handle vent?

Yes, as long as the fan, crank knob and screen sit flush with or above the ceiling trim. If anything sticks out below the ceiling, the flat cover can't seal over it. Not sure? Send us a photo of your vent before ordering and we'll check it for you.

Will it stay up while driving and in hot weather?

Yes, when the strips are applied correctly. Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol, apply the strips at room temperature rather than on a hot afternoon, press firmly, and let them set for 24 hours. That gives the adhesive its full strength before it faces heat or bumpy roads.

Will removing it damage my ceiling?

The cover itself comes off with one pull on the red tab. If you ever want the strips off too, warm them with a hair dryer for 20 to 30 seconds and peel slowly at a low angle. On soft vinyl or wallpaper ceilings, test a small corner first.

Will it cause condensation in winter?

Condensation forms when warm, moist cabin air meets the cold vent dome. A sealed cover limits that contact. As with any RV in cold weather, keep air moving: crack a window or run a vent fan while cooking and showering, and take the cover down for a few hours every few days to let the vent dry out.

Can I still use my roof fan?

Yes. Pull the red tab to take the cover down whenever you want airflow, then press it back on.

How many do I need?

Most RVs have 2 to 4 roof vents and skylights. Start with the one above your bed, then the bathroom skylight.

Can you ship to my campground?

Yes. We ship to any valid address, including RV parks and campgrounds and mail forwarding services. For a campground, add your site number and let the office know a package is coming.
